What Can Be Donated?

Donations big and small make the Diemer Auction special every year. Click the image above or Donate! to submit an auction item (And receive a receipt for your donation).

 

Examples include:

  • Use of a vacation home/Air BNB
  • Chiefs/Royals/Sporting tickets, baseball tickets, concert tickets
  • Gift certificates to local restaurants or retailers
  • Socials - Wine Tasting, Music/cooking, Craft/Art etc. class taught by you or a friend of yours
  • Workplace tours (Shadow a professional Dr.,  Lawyer, Designer etc )
  • Video game tutorials
  • Art
  • “Host a party”
  • Gift Card for Custom Baked Cake/Cookies/etc
  • That new item your mother in law gave you... but you don't need!
  • Bottle of Wine ($15+ for our at-auction game)
  • *Reach out to donate an item for the auction.

What exactly does it mean to “host a Social” or "host a Party"?

Parent-hosted parties can be a big part of the Diemer Auction's success. As mini fundraising events and community builders, parties can raise a significant amount auction revenue. Parties for parents can range from themed dinner parties, wine tastings, sports outings, and fitness and art classes. Kids’ parties offer kids an opportunity to learn a new craft or skill, take a guided hike, or enjoy an afternoon tea party hosted by someone else’s parents. Parties bring together Diemer community members of all ages who share common interests or just want to relax and have some fun. Many parties are hosted by multiple families, who split the cost and share the planning duties. All party costs are paid by the hosts of the party so that all proceeds at the auction go to Diemer PTA! Interested in hosting a party?   • Movie night (family or drop off)

WINE/LIQUOR PULL DONATIONS, BY 11/17

The wine pull will be an important component to the success of the auction! It’s a fun and easy way to support the event, even if you’re unable to attend. If you are able, please donate a bottle of wine or liquor (valued $15 and up) by Friday November 17th.

 

Wine/Liquor Donations can be porch dropped off to Julie Schindler (10001  Broadmoor st, place on porch) or handed to any of these familiar Diemer faces: Heather Edwards, Lori Ruf, Whitney Crooks or Mandy Neddo. If you have any questions please contact wine pull coordinator Julie Schindler.
